As winter weather continues to impose dangers on Detroit area residents, snowplows will be rolling out to clear the snow and spread the salt.

Additionally, the salt being spread by these trucks can cause damage to cars and windshields of vehicles following too closely.

Danger #3: Pedestrians – While plow drivers are fully aware of their surroundings while providing service, it can be very difficult to see pedestrians when the slow is flying, especially late at night. Pedestrians should exercise extreme caution when plows are nearby.
