The Conan the Barbarian release date is set for November 22, 2011. Based on Robert E. HowardÂ’s Conan the Barbarian character, this sword and sorcery fantasy movie tells a different interpretation of the mythology. The remake has no connection to the films that were popularized by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Conan the Barbarian stars Jason Momoa as Conan, together with Rose McGowan, Stephen Lang, Bob Sapp, Ron Perlman and Rachel Nichols.
