Developer Griptonite Games is bringing the classic Shinobi gameplay to Nintendo 3DS. It was announced that this game is not a remake of the original but a modernized version of the game. Sega is making sure that the classic Shinobi gaming experience still remains. It means that the side-scrolling combat action and platforming is combined with new features with twists for the new generation of video gamers.
Shinobi is about the story story of Jiro Musashi, the Oboro clan leader. Jiro is the father of Joe Musashi who is the Shinobi hero of the first iterations. Players will use JiroÂ’s ninja magic to defeat enemies and overcome obstacles. Players are able to use the new combo system feature where they can switch from melee to ranged to acrobatic attacks. With Shinobi game, players will be transformed into true ninja masters.
Shinobi 3DS also features up to 60 in-game achievements that are unlockable for the players to use or wear, as well as challenge maps to participate in. Get ready to be a ninja star-throwing master in stunning 3D, once it reaches video game retailers. The official Shinobi release date is on November 15, 2011.
