(EMAILWIRE.COM, December 13, 2008 ) The Hague - SES NEW SKIES, an SES company (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG) announces that Satlynx, a leading provider of satellite communication services throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has agreed to a multi-year deal for the provision of 20 Mbps on the Africa IPsys®/DVB platform aboard the NSS-10 satellite at the orbital position of 322.5 degrees East.

Nigel Gibson, Regional Vice President - Europe and Middle East at SES NEW SKIES, states: “IPsys® connections bypass all shared ground networks and associated congestion points - as well as any terrestrial connectivity gaps - to seamlessly deliver rich internet content to even the most remote locations at high speeds. SES NEW SKIES is honored to provide Satlynx, who has been a valuable customer since 2002, with a full-service solution to support Africa’s growing demand for state-of-the-art broadband connections.”
