(Transportation-News.com, October 06, 2012 ) Seymour, Victoria -- Toyota has announced the introduction of a new used vehicle program in Australia that will offer buyers inspection and warranty coverage for vehicles that are less than four years and have less than 100,000 km. The program will also offer buyers roadside assistance.
The Toyota Certified Used Vehicles program will also offer potential buyers a 6.9 percent comparison interest rate for vehicles that have a delivery date set before December 31 of this year. According to Toyota officials, the new used vehicle program will only be available for vehicles that have passed a comprehensive 90-point inspection, which will include mechanical components, as well as appearance reconditioning.
The new program is meant to offer buyers of used Toyotas the same sense of confidence and peace of mind that comes from purchasing a new vehicle, according to Toyota officials.
"The Toyota Certified Used Vehicles program provides a 'like new' ownership experience by combining the value of a used vehicle with the confidence of purchasing a new vehicle," said Matthew Callachor, of Toyota Australia. "This is a smart alternative to traditional options because it gives consumers the peace of mind when buying a used vehicle that only a Toyota factory-backed certification program can offer."
