The Screaming Banshee is an electric air horn that hooks into the existing motorcycle or scooter electrical system, and can either be used to support the existing horn warning system, or can be wired directly to become the default horn. When activated it emits a variable high-pitch warning that can reach decibel levels above 130.

The Screaming Banshee Motorcycle Air Horn comes with the needed wiring and mounting hardware to mount and connect it to the motorcycle or scooter's existing horn and electrical system. When wired in-line the Screaming Banshee activates with a sustained depression of the horn button, longer than 0.2 seconds. Shorter presses or taps activate the factory horn. When activated the Screaming Banshee also flashes the high beams, adding a visual component to the warning system.
"At 130 plus decibels the air horn makes a noise louder than a typical emergency siren," says Mr. Jepsen. "In fact, that volume is about as loud as a military fighter jet at takeoff.
