(Transportation-News.com, February 13, 2017 ) Stockholm, Sweden -- The Swedish branch of the Nordic language services provider Samtext launches its new
presence in cyberspace, making it easier for new companies to find it. The launch also
gives the Swedish companies who need copywriting and translation access to a much
larger number of Samtext people, competencies and resources. Simultaneously with this
relaunch, Samtext Sweden has also gone live on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+,
Weebly, YouTube, Yelp, and Instagram.
Since more than 20 years, the agency Samtext has been a full-service language provider
in Sweden, Finland, http://www.samtext.fi/palvelut/kaannostoimisto/, Denmark and Norway, delivering copywriting, translation, copy-adaptation, editing, proof-reading and production design to more than 2000 companies.
A large part of this work has been done by in-house employees, something rather out of the
ordinary in an industry that is largely based on freelancers and outsourcing.
- Since 1996 we always employed the very best talents we came across in the field. This
has obvious advantages when considering our long-term goal, which is to provide the
world's best texts, says Trond Samstad, the Norwegian CEO of Samtext International.
-You cannot achieve that consistently with freelancers alone, you must build up stable
competence in-house. A good writer or translator becomes great only when working
together with his or her peers.
- However, our largest office was always the one in Oslo, which has 3 copywriters in a
separate division, specialist translators on marketing texts, a flash-fiction writer and
editor, production designer, QA-specialist, creative director, heavy-weight project
managers, and not the least people who are experts on file formats and publishing tools.
We wanted to give Samtext's customers in Sweden access to this massive competence,
Mr. Samstad explains. Samtext Sweden therefore now has launched its new website www.samtext.se, with a
design and functionality that is in alignment with its Norwegian, Finnish and Danish
counterparts. Moreover, and not the least, the Stockholm personnel has migrated to a new
platform which is accessed through VDI (Virtual Desktop Interface) and a state-of- the-art
TMS (Translation Management System) that makes file transfers between the Samtext
offices a thing of the past.
The production designer can work seamlessly with the translator and the proof-reader.
