 (EMAILWIRE.COM, September 30, 2011 ) New York, NY -- Alternative Country singer Ryan Adams is releasing his Ashes & Fire album on October 11, 2011 under the record label PAX-AM / Capitol in U.S. This is the 13th album of the singer/songwriter who is here to tease us again with his music. Ashes & Fire contains 11 tracks, including “Lucky Now” as his first single.
The entire album is like a tribute to the sixties. Listening to AdamsÂ’ voice feels like taking a trip back in time. The album Ashes & Fire consists of heartbreaking songs that include some wild parts of his life. Some say that the album may spell trouble in terms of music, however others predict that Ashes & Fire could be the biggest album of the singerÂ’s career.
Adams recorded the album in Sunset Sound Factory in Hollywood and producer Glyn Johns helped create the album. Johns’ son Ethan is the producer of Ryan Adams earlier albums “Heartbreaker” and “Gold.” Five years ago, Adams suffered from Ménière's disease, which is a degenerative disorder. Ashes & Fire would have not been possible if the prolific singer was not able to change his way of life. "I literally threw out 80% of what I had. And it felt good, to ask: 'What am I really capable of?' I felt competitive again to write great songs." said the alternative country singer.
