Starbucks Coffee is committed to positive change and protecting the environment. Always interested in helping their local communities, the sneakers drive seemed like a logical thing to do. Tiftarea Starbucks ran a volunteer campaign as part of Relay For Life called, “Sneakin’ Up on Cancer.” Each pair of shoes earned 50 cents for the Relay and will be refurbished for people in third world countries. It was clearly a win-win situation for all involved.
