(Transportation-News.com, September 20, 2012 ) San Francisco, CA- As the new year rolls around, the 2013 Buick Enclave is said to be getting its prices hiked. The starting price of $39,270 is nearly $2000 more than last year’s model. Even with the new price raise, it still seems to come in cheaper than other premium seven-passenger SUVs such as the Infiniti JX35 and Acura MDX.
With every 2013 Buick Enclave comes safety, comfort, and luxury. Each vehicle comes standard with HID headlights, a rear-view camera, rear parking sensors, remote start, a seven-inch touch-screen infotainment display with IntelliLink, GM’s new front-center airbag, and a power liftgate. If upgraded, the 2013 Enclave with the leather group would come with leather interior, heated front seats, an eight-way power passenger seat, memory seat settings, as well as a blind-spot monitoring system with Cross Traffic Alert. If that still didn’t suit all needs, if upgraded to the Premium Group, the unit comes with 19-inch chrome wheels (the standard model gets 18-inchers), headlights that turn around corners, a premium sound system, cooled front seats, power-folding side mirrors, and a power tilt/telescoping steering column.
The Buick Enclave crossover seems to be remaining an integral part of this company’s lineup, even years after the Enclave first arrived on the market. Even though the first part of the year only sold 37,351 Enclaves, which was a few thousand less than some other equivalent SUVs, it still came in well above the Verano and the Regal. The company is wondering if raising the base price of the 2013 Buick Enclave will have any effect on new sales, since it shares the same market with Infiniti JX and, soon to come Acura MDX.
