These trending stocks include airline stocks like U.S. Airways Group Inc. (NYSE: LCC). Shares of LCC closed up .79 (16.29%) to $5.64.
Most airline stocks were up big Tuesday. The reason? Execs claim they have yet to see any signs of a contracting economy in their September bookings and reaffirmed plans to reduce their seat capacity.
While this is good news for the industry, stocks like LCC could be targets for a dip on Wednesday.

Speaking of targets, popular retailer Target (NYSE: TGT). Shares were up slightly Tuesday. But the big news is that the company's web site came crashing down.
The web problems had something to do with bargains being offered online for a limited edition discount fashion line by Missoni.
In other news, Farmer Brothers Co. (Nasdaq: FARM) released news that sales are up over last year. And, Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) is close to releasing its new operating system, Windows 8.
